Take a dip in style with this 1920's bathing suit! The tag is stamped with the patent date, in 1921, but I'm not sure what year this specific suit was made.
The suit is a textured black fabric. I don't see a fabric info tag, but this seems to be wool, which is consistent with the time period. There is an ivory robe halter tie with plastic beads on the end, and ivory crossback straps as well.
Skirted shorts, which are just so sweet.
And the textured pattern in the wool is really a beautiful touch.
This swimsuit is in great vintage condition, with no holes, stains, or odors to note. There is some chipping to the beads on the ends of the halter straps, but that is the only issue I see. It's not very noticeable, and the beads could be replaced.
The tag reads 38, which I believe is equivalent to a size 8 or 10 US today, which would be a medium. I think this suit might run a bit smaller than that, so please check measurements closely. It does have a good deal of stretch to it as well.
