AUTHENTIC ILLUSTRATION OF FOUR YOUNG FRENCH BOYS WEARING VARIOUS STYLES OF FORMAL DRESS FOR THEIR FIRST COMMUNION .  NOTE THE TRADITIONAL 'SHOULDER BOWS.

Like similar original prints this comes from my fashion design archive which I am having to reluctantly reduce due to lack of space on downsizing in retirement.
This series of illustrations were used by the French tailors to show their clients the detail of the seasons' designs prior to taking an order for made to measure tailoring.
