This came out of the First United Methodist Church in endicott NY. Provenance says grandpas Ed Russell’s wedding suit 1900. All buttons are complete. One button on jacket gel off in handing but is in pocket of vest. Fly on pants is button down. Crease in pants and jacket are razor sharp. No stains on black wool. Color is BLACK - black - photos aren’t doing this suit justice. Some moth damage on jacket - documented in photos. White cotton interior lining is yellowed, stained on under arms (this is a VERY heavy wool- don’t need a boat in winter with this one). All buckets intact. Waist measures 32”. Inseam is 32” though I think a little longer in front. Jacket sleeves are 25” long. Across back of shoulders measures 18”. From shoulder to hem in back 36”. Back Vent is 15”. Vest buttons are all present. 4 pockets on vest. In terrific condition. Minimal moth damage on back of jacket - could be repaired or disguised. A pull on inside of leg. No discernible odors. A fine example of custom made clothes of early 20th century. Great for period costuming.
