CHANEL Lagerfeld Era Pink Tweed 3-Piece Suit: Jacket, Skirt, & Bustier

Karl Lagerfeld reinvigorated the grand dame of couture in the 1990s and produced playful yet high fashion designs for Chanel such as this charming tweed suit. The three-piece ensemble includes a jacket, a straight skirt, and a matching bustier (or strapless cropped top). The jacket has small shoulder pads, long sleeves, four front patch pockets, five CC logo buttons down the center front, and the requisite hem chain. The pencil skirt has a hidden back zipper and closes with another logo button. The bustier has light boning all around and closes with a back zipper. All three pieces are in made in a lovely pink and white tweed fabric that is 50% wool, 29% cotton, 12% silk, and 9% nylon. The peach-colored linings, that have the CC logo woven throughout, are 100% silk. There are no size labels, but based on the measurements, our sizing charts estimate that the three pieces all fall most closely with the range of a modern size 12, possibly 14. Please refer to the measurements for the best guidance regarding actual size. JACKET MEASUREMENTS - Shoulder width is 16" - Chest is 40" - Waist is 40" - Hips are 42" - Sleeve length is 24" - Length is 25" down center back excluding collar. TOP MEASUREMENTS - Chest is 37" measured straight across the back at the top of the sides. - Top is 38” measured around the top edge of the bustier. - Waist is 32” - Length on side is 9.25” - Length at zipper is 9” - Length at center front is 10.25” SKIRT MEASUREMENTS - Waist is 31” - Hips are 42” - Length is 24” including waistband. CONDITION All three pieces are in excellent condition with no apparent flaws.
