Chanel's Spring 1995 collection, commonly referred to as the Barbie collection, featured a number of iconic pieces that still captivate fashion enthusiasts to this day. One such piece is this gorgeous cropped jacket, which was famously modeled by Nina Brosh and Claudia Schiffer. The jacket has since become a highly sought-after item among collectors, with its value skyrocketing in recent years. This investment piece boasts a stunning cotton tweed fabric in a delicate white/eggshell blue and contrasting black trims, as well as CC silk lining and black and gold CC buttons. The matching black skirt features a high-waist corset accent and side splits, creating a timeless silhouette. This vintage suit is in very good condition, with impeccable tweed and only minor fading on the silk collar and cuffs. The interior silk lining is in overall good condition despite some mild yellow marks around the armholes, which is typical for its age. Label size FR40 but as most vintage pieces it runs small. Fits modern FR34. Altered. The size label on the jacket has faded. Please refer to measurements: jacket shoulder 14", bust 34", waist 25", length 15,5", sleeve 22,5", skirt waist 26", hips 36", length 22,5", side slit 11".
