Demi-Season Suit (5st layer) VKPO (VKBO) EMR Hunting Russian Army

This is the 5th layer of the VKPO all season 8 layer clothing system, which is standard issue to the modern Russian military. This layer serves as a "shell" layer and keeps the insulation layers underneath from getting wet and dries quickly.  It also breaks the wind and protects the heat trapped by the underlying ventilation layers. This layer is highly water resistant but not completely waterproof. This is intentional.  It is made to be both water resistant and highly breathable, lightweight and compact. Choose your layers carefully and you can survive any weather you encounter whether hunting, fishing, camping, or working in your own backyard. This layer consists of a jacket and pants Jacket: -Stand-up collar -Hood with drawstring closure -2 way zipper with chin protection and Velcro closure flap -Drawstring bottom -2 breast slit pockets with zipper closure -2 breast Velcro strips -2 upper arm pockets with Velcro for closure and patches -Zipper controlled ventilation flaps under the armpits to either trap in heat or allow sweat to evaporate depending on the conditions. - The elbow area is reinforced with a lining of high-strength fabric type called Cordura 350D. Pants: -Snap closure with zipper fly -4 belt loops, loops fit 7.5 cm belt -Elastic at the back of waistband - Removable suspenders -Side slant pockets -Side thigh pockets with drawstring closure and Velcro flaps -Knees and seat are reinforced with high-strength fabric called Cordura 350D. -The top and bottom of the side seams contain zip closures for easy removal of pants and provide free access to shoes. -The bottom of the pants is adjustable with elastic and snap closures.
