It epitomizes a style that has become synonymous with Hedi Slimane and remains an icon of one of his greatest collections. A one button single vented tuxedo with satin covered button and a satin peak lapel— coated with an uneven wax finish. The coating is applied in such a way that, despite the dramatic appearance, it remains flexible and soft. The pants are unhemmed (with the possibility of being worn stacked as they were on the runway). This is a showroom piece, and unlike a prototype, this was created and fully finished for the Dior showroom as a special order. It is unaltered and unworn. The waist is measured across the top with the waistband aligned. The rise is measured from the fork (where the legs meet at the crotch) along the fly to the top edge. The thigh is measured from the fork to the outer edge. The inseam is measure from the fork to the hem. The hem is measured across the bottom edge of the pant leg.
