Eidos Napoli Double Breasted 40R Navy Chalk Stripe Flannel Carlo Barbera.
Up for grabs is a piece of menswear history. A smart double breasted chalk stripe suit, made up in buttery soft wool flannel from Carlo Barbera.
Eidos Napoli was founded in 2013 by Antonio Ciongoli, and was lauded for its incredible fabrics and killer Neapolitan style before it eventually shut down in 2020. I was fortunate enough to snag this second hand several years ago, but gains in the gym mean this no longer fits like it used to.
The jacket features 4” peak lapels, side vents, and includes the trademark Eidos lapel pin.
The trousers are flat front, and feature belt loops, an extended waistband closure, and a plain hem.
Measurements as follows:
Jacket:
- Chest = 39”
- Waist = 36”
- Sleeve Length = 24”
- Shoulder = 17.25”
- Jacket Length = 28.5”
