It was used by Russian Marine reconnaissance groups during the Second Chechen War.

Fabric article S 36-BYu. GOST TR TS 019/2011. Grade 1. Manufactured by CJSC BMK (Barnaul melange kombinat) "Melangist Altaya" Barnaul city, Russia, this well-known company manufactured suits for Special Forces and airborne forces in camouflage Flora. Year of manufacture 2005.
