This is a nice looking and high end men's suit by SARAR of Denmark in their “Premium” line in a size 44R. This is a higher end line by SARAR with the special selection Super 150’s wool material made in Italy that they make that includes fitting and hemming. This was $790.00 when purchased new.
This suit was custom finished for the original owner to include surgeon cuffs as a made to measure feature. Please verify the measurements below.....thank you.
This suit is made of a nice elegant Super 150’s wool in a navy blue self stripe. The stripe is done in a rope pattern.
The material has a very elegant feel and you can tell it is high end to the touch. It is a great looking material...... please see the up close pictures for the best example of this wonderful suit.
It is a 2 button single breasted coat with 4 surgeon cuff buttons on the sleeves. The jacket has a double vented rear. It is fully lined and features 3 interior pockets plus the pen slot. It has the hand picked stitching along the exterior edges as seen in the photos.
The pants have a flat front, a double button closure with an inside button front, side seam angled waistline pockets, they are lined in the inside pant leg, the hidden key waistline pocket, and have 2 buttoned rear pockets. The pants are finished with a strait hem with the material folded inside allowing one to professionally lengthen if needed up to about 1 1/2 extra inches maximum using a strait hem finish. They are labeled as a 36 on the inside label but they were expanded to a 39 waist by the original owner during final measuring and fitting. This is so well done you cannot even tell. The interior lining is done in black and is in very nice condition.
The measurements for the jacket are as follows:
CHEST = 47 1/2 inches around the chest measured under the armpit area around the outside of the coat. We take measurements around the outside circumference of the coat as if the jacket was being worn by a person. We do not measure laying flat.
SLEEVES = 34 1/2 inches from the center of the back neckline to the end of the cuffs, 24 3/4 inches from the shoulder seam to the end of the cuffs.
TAIL = 29 1/2 inches from the bottom of the collar to the end of the tail hem in back
SHOULDERS = 19 1/2 inches across the shoulder from seam to seam
WAISTLINE = 45 1/2 inches around the midsection of the outside of the jacket at the bottom button which is about 10 inches up from the bottom button. We measure around the outside circumference of the coat as if the jacket was being worn by a person. We do not measure laying flat.
The pant measurements are:
WAIST = 39 inches around the inside of the waistband. Laying flat they are about 19 1/2 inches across the waistband. There is about 1 extra inch or so of material to widen if needed.
LENGTH INSEAM = 31 inch inseam measured to the end of the pant hem with about 1 1/2 inches of extra material to lengthen as needed.
OVERALL LENGTH = 41 1/2 inches long from the waistline to the end of hem
RISE = 10 1/2 inches.
LEG OPENING = 9 inches wide
This SARAR Premium navy blue self pinstripe men’s suit is pure quality. Knowing it is made with a nice Italian wool, in a great color and pattern, custom for the original owner, it will be a loved suit for many years to come.
Overall the exterior of the suit looks very nice. It is not perfect since it was worn, but it was only worn for a couple of times in total and then dry cleaned. The original owner gained weight and didn’t want to expand the pants. It can’t be perfect as new, but there isn’t anything that would not make you proud to own and wear this great suit. I see some minor loose interior threads, and a mark of two on the interior lining……but it doesn’t effect wear at all. Not a big deal at all, and the suit is in very nice condition overall.
The pants interior lining is done in black color and looks great. Virtually no signs of weat at all.
This high end very nice SARAR Premium custom mens suit will be a great addition to any mans wardrobe for many years to come.
