Vintage 1980s 90s TED LAPIDUS Paris cotton shirt wrap skirt dress set

Vintage TED LAPIDUS grey boxy button front blouse with matching high waist wrap skirt. Such nice details. The fabric is a beautiful mid weight textured cotton dobby in a dark charcoal color. The blouse has two rows of decorate but also functional shell buttons, with a center front placket of hidden buttons. The shirt is collared and boxy with short sleeves - can be tucked in or worn loose over the skirt. The skirt is a higher waist, a-line shape, wrap style with enough crossover to be comfortable, secures with a button and a tie and buckle, there is a cargo pocket that buttons and can be removed, asymmetrical as closes on the side. The skirt is fully lined. Such a great set. Can be worn late summer well into the Fall, and again in the Spring. Also a nice travel set. Ted Lapidus vintage apparel is hard to find. Made in France. Will fit a US 2-4. The top is oversized but the skirt waist is more size specific.
