Lilli Ann Suit - New Look 1940s 50s Gray Wool Hourglass Jacket Skirt -

1940s Lilli Ann suit in beautiful two-tone gray wool, a sophisticated designer suit with gorgeous details. This Lilli Ann ensemble includes an hourglass jacket & straight skirt in fine gabardine-like wool. The suit jacket has a dramatic shawl lapel that wings the shoulders like a soldier's epaulets, with vertical darts and rimmd self buttons to the waist. The jacket has two-tone bold cuffs, and it's fully lined. Matching slim A-line skirt has a fitted waistband, diagonally set darts, and a center back walking pleat.

*note the skirt's side seams have been expertly taken up, and can be let out at least 2.5 inches to either side (5 inches total) if needed

Beautiful overall, freshly dry cleaned, the left lapel has two barely perceptible 1/2-inch yellowish marks that are scarcely there (see fourth photo), the skirt has a similarly faint area at mid-level with a tiny repaired hole here, nothing noticed when worn
