I ncredible vintage 1940s Fred A. Block in the super rare, bright raspberry gabardine with elaborate jet black beading. The blazer features a dramatic open collar with elaborate black beading (reminds me of a spider web), shoulder pads, nipped waist with diagonal Deco seams, two fabric covered button closures at the waist, decorative curved pocket flaps with matching beading, and light lining at the hips for shape and structure. Fully lined in rayon crepe. The skirt is a slightly flared pencil skirt with a metal side zipper, hook and eye closures, and back kick pleat. Skirt is unlined. Measurements: Jacket Bust: up to 40", flexible as the bust is somewhat open Waist: 28" - 29" Length (from shoulder): 23.5" at longest point Sleeve length (from shoulder seam): 24" Shoulder to Shoulder 17 Skirt Waist: 27" (could be taken in or let out an inch, respectively) Hips: 40" (measures 41" max) Length: currently at 28" but could be let back down 3" to 31" *shown pinned to fit on a 33" bust, 25" waist dress form Condition: Excellent Minus O verall excellent vintage condition; there is a a tiny moth nibble beneath the lower button on the suit, this will not be seen when worn as it is covered. There is a pin sized dark mark above the right pocket, I believe it may just be a flaw in the thread. There is also a pinhole on the right shoulder (again not very noticeable). Otherwise presents just beautifully and is in wonderful condition. Comes from a smoke free home No returns or layaway Payment due within 3 days **Many of my items are vintage
and pre-owned so I do my best to go over each item thoroughly to ensure the
description is as accurate as possible. Vintage items are not perfect and even
though I take extremely good care of all my clothing, they are still more
fragile than new clothing which can be torn when you're putting them on if done
so strenuously. I do not under any circumstances accept returns. If you have
any questions or concerns, please ask me before you bid.
