This listing is for a vintage 1950's men's suit jacket. This gorgeous jacket was made in the 1950's and is made from a nice textile which is a bit odd. At first glance, it looks to be linen, especially given all of the slubs present within the weave, however, it also has some wool-like tendencies, including its weight, so it may be a bit of an odd blend, however, we are unsure! Other than this, it has all of the nice hallmarks of a 50's fashionable 50's jacket including its medium-width, slightly-rounded lapels, patch pockets, low gorge, two-button front, and boxy cut. The front of the jacket bears two beige marbled synthetic buttons with four per cuff. It is partially lined in a yellow synthetic fabric and the shoulders are well-padded. Overall, the jacket is in used - but very good - condition, and aside from one very small brown speck one near the bottom of one of the front hip pockets, there are virtually no other signs of wear present and the rest of the jacket is exceptional! Labels bearing brand, product line, seller, seller location, laundering information, and size are present. No fabric content or Union information is indicated. Jacket is marked as a US men's size 39R, however, it actually measures to fit more of a 42R. Our measurements are as follow: Across chest, pit to pit, buttoned, laid flat: 22" Across waist, buttoned, laid flat: 20.25" Sleeves, shoulder seam to end of cuff hem: 25" Shoulders, seam to seam, across back: 18.25" Overall length, bottom of collar seam to bottom hem, in back: 32"
