Here is a red and black plaid boucle wool knit suit by Adolfo. This is a vintage suit from the 70s to 80s when Adolfo was at the height of his designer career. He was the main designer for First Lady Nancy Reagan who wore many suits and dresses designed by Adolfo. Many of her Adolfo items are on display in the Reagan museum. Her favorite color was red and this suit is reminiscent of the red Adolfo suit she wore at the Reagan inauguration. The suit closes with three gold buttons and loops, has four pocket tabs with a matching button on each, and has three more buttons on each sleeve. The jacket and skirt are trimmed with black and red twisted rope. The skirt has an elastic waistband, three buttons on the right front and has slit under the fold. Condition is excellent with no holes repairs or stains. There's no size tag but I am guessing it will fit a medium. Jacket: shoulder 16.5", bust 39", length 26", sleeves 25". Skirt: waist 27", hip 40", length 27"
