Fresh from a local estate is a wonderful vintage 50's one piece bathing suit tagged "Limited Edition by Rose Marie Reid".
It is an acetate/cotton/rubber with a metal Conmar zipper in the back. The straps are adjustable, it has inner cups, stretchy back and the bottom has a nylon panty liner.
This is modeled on a size small mannequin and measures laid flat (without stretching it) 15 1/2" across the bust with extra room in the cup area, 12" across the waist, 15" across the bottom and 24" long not including the straps.
It is in overall great vintage condition, there is a slight discoloration on the edge by one cup and a little on the hip, see pictures. Both are minor in my opinion and I have not tried to launder it. There is also one button that is slightly loose and some paint loss on the zipper pull.
This will make a perfect addition to your vintage collection!
