VTG 60s 70s Blue Gray Suit Birdseye Men's 42 Reg 37.5W L29.5 Disco Bells

70s does the 30s Blue Gray Birdseye 2 Piece Suit.  (42 Reg)  Disco Bell Bottoms Italian This finely made suit is a real eye-catcher. It was designed by Cesare Larini e Figlio. The material is a smooth Birdseye  tweed cloth in polyester or polyester blend. Birdseye tweed was popular in the 1930s and 40s, and it gives this suit a true vintage look. The cut of the jacket is American with lightly padded shoulders, wide 4 3/8" lapels and a deep single rear vent.     The trousers are nicely pressed with a flat front, drop-loop, and bell bottoms, which measure to 10.5" Condition: Good / Very Good Vintage Condition. One stain on the front of the right sleeve, not very noticeable due to the pattern -see photo. Some minor pulls in the fabric. They are not very noticeable and don't show up on the photos.  There are a few pulls on the jacket and a few on the pants near the pockets.  They are only noticeable on close inspection.  One pocket is repaired in the pants, but it seems to be a sturdy patch.  Beyond these minor flaws, the suit looks great and is made of incredible fabric.  Please see the photos.  From a smoke-free home
Maker: Cesare Larini e Figlio, Milano Italy Union Made in U.S.A.  (union label is 1962 -1975 series) Material: No markings, but looks and feels like polyester or polyester blend. Marked: No markings but measures to a 42 Reg.  The trousers are 37.5" W  and 29.5" L ( with a 3" hem) Since size markings may differ from maker to maker, Please check measurements to your own well-fitting jacket / suit (if you aren’t sure how to measure your own jacket, please see the instructions below)

Since many suits aren't marked, I go by measurements to determine size.  Also be aware that sometimes a suit is marked, but it doesn't match the measurements.
