VTG 70s Polyester Gray Disco Suit Hart Schaffner Marx Men's 40 Reg 35W L

VTG 70s 1970s Gray Polyester Disco Suit   (40 Reg)  Disco Wide lapels Bell Bottoms This is an amazingly preserved and high quality suit from a high end suit maker Hart, Schaffner, and Marx. Get ready to show your moves at the discotheque in this suit.  It is made of ribbed polyester cloth.  The cut of the jacket is American style with very lightly padded shoulders, wide 4.5" lapels, decorative patch pockets, and a deep single rear vent.    The trousers are nicely pressed with a flat front, high rise, and wide bell bottoms, which measure to 10".  Just a few wrinkles on the pants leg from the hanger.  A really amazing suit from the 70s.  Condition:  Excellent, Near Mint, Vintage Condition. No holes, no stains, no flaws.  Only lightly used.  Incredibly well-preserved!  Overall, very nice condition. From a smoke-free home.
Maker: Hart, Schaffner, Marx for Jusdon-Bricker in Easton, PA. Material: No markings but looks and feels like polyester or a polyester blend. Marked: No markings, but measures to a 40 Reg.  The trousers are 35" W  and 29.25" L ( with a 3.25" hem) Since size markings may differ from maker to maker, Please check measurements to your own well-fitting jacket / suit (if you aren’t sure how to measure your own jacket, please see the instructions below)

Since many suits aren't marked, I go by measurements to determine size.  Also be aware that sometimes a suit is marked, but it doesn't match the measurements.
