PRICED TO SELL is a vintage 2000s camo suit by Yohji Yamamoto. This is the premier line of Yohji Yamamoto, not Y’s, and I purchased it from San Francisco’s Cielo boutique. I had a fine time wearing it to holiday parties, with Apocalypse Now boots and slippery, luxurious silk charmeuse blouse. Androgynous styling with tailored cutaway jacket; you will find the cut of the jacket surprisingly sexy
, as it enhances the delta from chest to waist. Zip pocket built into each sleeve cuffs, echoed by gussets at the knees of the pants. Made beautifully in Japan.
CONDITION Mint. Worn lovingly, stored properly.
SIZE is Yamamoto’s “2”, which for a woman is a Medium / American 6-8 / French 38-40. The jacket is open-front, so its fit is flexible. Measurements to focus on are therefore jacket shoulders, pant waist, and pant hips.
MEASUREMENTS Pant waist is 29” / 74cm. Belt loops allow you to cinch the waist. Pant hips are 38” / 96cm. Pant length measured straight down the OUTSIDE seam is 35” / 89cm. Inseam is 24” / 61cm. Rise is 11”. Shoulders, measured seam-to-seam across the back, are 16.25” / 41cm. Jacket length, measured straight down the middle of the back, excluding collar, is 29.5” / 75cm. Sleeve length, measured from shoulder seam to cuff, is 20” / 51cm. Please, compare these figures to pieces that fit you well.
